Our way of saying thanks

Recently, a Camcare team member settled a loan at our Ashburton Community Bank® Branch. As our way of saying thanks, Maggie Stamoulis and Emily Wellesley-Winter from our Ashburton branch presented Camcare with a $1000 cheque. Maggie and Emily attended the Camcare staff meeting to thank Jane Broadhead, Nina Levin and the rest of the Camcare staff for their ongoing support over the years.

Supporting Aged Care Programs.

Samarinda Ashburton Aged Services provides residential and specialist day respite programs to the Ashburton and Boroondara community. The Ashburton Community Bank is proud to continue its support of this valued facility through the provision of funds to support their programs. Samarinda staff and Board members joined Community Bank staff for the cheque presentation.

Facilities upgrade for STC South Camberwell Cricket Club

 

Helping out a sporting club doesn’t always mean buying new uniforms, bats and balls. Sometimes we help out with the club facilities. For example, Maggie Stamoulis, the manager at our Ashburton Community Bank® Branch, recently visited the STC South Camberwell Cricket Club to present a sponsorship cheque for $1000 to club president Beau Coyle. The club used the funds to upgrade furniture in the club rooms.

We are pleased to keep working with STC South Camberwell Cricket Club, and support the community that supports us.

Celebrating 30 years at Richmond Central

More than 200 players across three senior football teams and 15 netball teams will enjoy new club apparel to mark the 30th anniversary of the Richmond Central Amateur Football and Netball Club.

Family fun at St Michael’s Parish School

St Michael’s Parish School held its Family Fun Fair over the weekend. Maggie, manager at our Ashburton Community Bank® Branch, presented school principal Marisa Matthys with a sponsorship cheque for $1,000 at the school’s assembly.

The fair was a great success, and the branch received the coins to prove it! Our Ashburton branch is proud to sponsor this great local school.

The Ashburton Willows Cricket Club’s vision to increase participation in cricket within the local community and further develop player skills through a Junior Development Program has been recognised through sponsorship with the Ashburton Community Bank.

Maggie Stamoulis, manager at our Ashburton Community Bank® Branch, recently attended Waverley Hockey Club’s junior presentation night. While she was there, Maggie handed over a cheque for $1000 to the club, simply because a member took out a home loan worth more than $250,000 with our Ashburton Branch.

The Ashburton Branch is a long term partner of this great club, with sponsorship now worth more than $10,000.

Providing opportunities for participation

Supporting disadvantaged children and families in the local community, The Edge Community Fund plays an essential role in providing children with the opportunity to participate in school and other activities they would otherwise be excluded from due to a lack of financial support.
