Brian Nankervis hosts Music Festival kick off

The Surrey Hills Music Festival kicked off in style at the Emulation Hall in Canterbury last week. Brian Nankervis hosted festival favourites The Band who knew too much and Andy Layfield and the Sound.
The Surrey Hills Community BankĀ® branch is once again a Major Sponsor of the Music Festival which will be held in Surrey Hills from 17-19 November.Ā  The Community BankĀ® has provided more than $34,000 in Sponsorship of the Festival over the years. We look forward to a fabulous 2017 event.

Maggie Stamoulis, Manager of the Surrey Hills Community BankĀ® branch and staff member Jo May recently attended the Surrey Park Lacrosse Presentation Night where players received recognition for outstanding contribution to their club.

Congratulations to the Hawthorn Amateur Football Club Ashy Redbacks for winning one of our $2,000 sponsorship’s at the recently held Maximising the Value of Social Media Workshop. Piggy learns new tricks- Surrey Park Auskickers

Piggy made a suprise appearance at Surrey Park last weekend to celebrate the end of the Auskick season. The Auskickers had lots of tips for Piggy, he managed to kick a few goals, master the ‘dab’ and evenĀ take a selfie.
Surrey Hills Community BankĀ® Branch Manager, Maggie Stamoulis attended along with Director Andrew Whittaker and Marketing Manager Anna Gration. We have recently provided funds to the Surrey park Sporting clubs for the installation of a new electronic scoreboard at the ground.

Lots of laps at Surrey Hill Cricket Club

Surrey Hill Cricket Club launched their 2017-2018 season with a lap-a-thon. The Junior cricketers had 20 minutes to run as many laps of the Surrey Park oval as they could. The lap-a-thon was a fundraiser for the club and runners went into the draw to win an iPad donated by the Surrey Hills Community BankĀ® .Ā  Branch Manager, Maggie Stamoulis presented the iPad to an very excited Ben who was the winner on the day. Ben and other junior players raised more than $500 for the club.

Ladies Lunch at Surrey Park Football Club

Maggie Stamoulis and Jo May from the Surrey Hills Community BankĀ® branch recently attended a ladies lunch at the Surrey Park sports pavilion hosted by the Surrey Park Football Club. The event was a fundraiser for the club and was enjoyed by many club ladies on a sunny winter day. The Surrey Hills Branch has a great relationship with the Football Club and we have recently provided funding toward the installation of the new electronic scoreboard.
